BMA Students Share Their Talents

At Blue Mountain Academy, we have three mission touring groups that share their talents with the community. These select groups have the opportunity to not only tour in the United States, but in other countries as well. Membership in each group is by audition only.

LA SONNETTE ENSEMBLE

La Sonnette Ensemble is an advanced handbell choir that performs extensively throughout Pennsylvania and its surrounding states, as well as for special events on campus. The group is comprised of 14 members who are selected by audition. Previous music reading experience is required (such as piano, organ, or instrumental). La Sonnette Ensemble participates every year in the Toledo Ohio Ringfest. The group tours throughout the mid-Atlantic region on average about once per month, and every other year takes an international tour. Previous international destinations have included Bermuda, Jamaica, Costa Rica, Dominican Republic, China, and Mexico.

BEL CANTO

Bel Canto is a 16-member auditioned choir selected for eight-part harmony.  Singing in various languages, they have toured around the globe visiting South Korea, Brazil, Spain, Romania, Dominica Republic and Mexico.  Their mission is to glorify our Creator through artistic expression of words and music.  They sing in various style of hymns, spirituals, and classical music.

AERIAL AIRES

Aerial Aires is a touring acrobatic team that seeks to glorify God through the example of teamwork, fitness, and spirituality.
