Dual Enrollment
Blue Mountain Academy allows diligent students to earn both high school and college credits (dual enrollment) simultaneously while attending BMA. The dual enrollment credits offered at BMA are General Education courses most colleges and universities require. College credits are granted through Kettering College, Reading Area Community College (RACC), and Washington Adventist University (WAU) and are transferable to most colleges and universities.
Students must have a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 to enter an advanced/dual enrollment or honors course. They must maintain a B- (80%) or better at the end of the first semester to remain in the course, or have permission from Academic Standards Committee.

Kettering College
The cost is $100/credit. Students must apply using the digital admissions form. The cost may be charged to the student’s BMA account, but payment should be made to BMA no later than the add/switch date each semester.
Please notify the Registrar’s Office at dengen@bma.us regarding the course you plan to take before the deadline.
Introduction to Human Communications – COMM 215 (English 11 – Adv.)
*If you took a Dual Enrollment course from Kettering last year, you do not need to fill out an application.

Reading Area Community College
All students will need to create a new account and fill out the entire application. You are only a returning student if you created an account with this application portal previously. The course registration, FERPA, parent and counselor sign-off are all part of this one application. Enter a counselor email (dengen@bma.us) for school sign-off and transcript upload. RACC will not be accepting paper registrations.
The cost is $99/credit. Students must apply using the RACC application form and complete the digital admissions form. Parents will be billed directly from RACC, and payment is due November 1 for the first semester and April 1 for the second semester. Contact RACC directly when requesting an official transcript.
Fall Semester payment due in full by October 31, 2024
